Location: Apollo Bandra, Colaba, Mumbai Maharashtra-400001

Gateway Of India Is based on the style of Indo-Saracenic of Architecture. This enormous structure was constructed in the year of 1924. It is standing beside the Arabian sea and in front of The Taj Hotel. This monument is the major attraction for tourist who came from abroad. Approximately Rs 21 lakhs had been spent by the govt of India at that time. At that time this memorial is the pride of British raj in India. Nowadays this structure attracts the photographers, vendors, and food stalls and became one of the favorite tourist spots. To salute the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai this memorial has been constructed. The construction plan was approved in the year of 1914 by the Governor of Bombay Sir Jorge Sydenham and it took nearly 4 years to complete the construction.
At any time of day, visitors can enjoy the beauty of the monument.

Haji Ali Dargah:

Location:  Haji Ali, Dargah Road, Mumbai Maharashtra

The 400 years old Haji Ali Dargah is one of the most famous religious places in Mumbai where all religions people are visited. It is located at the center of Arabian sea away from lala lajpath rai marg and near about 500 yards away from Mumbai Shoreline.
Daily near about 10-15 thousand peoples visits the Dargah. And on Thursday, Friday and Sundays the visitors increases to 20-30 thousand. People from all over the world of all caste, creed and religions visit the dargah to fulfil their wishes by the blessings of the saint Pirh Haji Ali Shah Bukhair.
The wealthy Merchant known as Haji Ali Shah Bukhair built this dargah in the year of 1431 AD. The Dargah is made up of the ‘Makhrana’ marble, the same white washed marble which used to construct the Taj Mahal.

Opening Timings:  9.30 AM to 5.30 PM Monday to Saturday.

Elephanta Cave:

Location: Gharapuri, Maharastra-400094

The Elephanta cave is declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. It is located on Iceland hills near about 11 KM north –east of the Apollo Bandar, Mumbai. It covering approximately 7 KM boundary area. After an enormous elephant is popularly known as ‘Gharapuri’ which was found in the Iceland, after this incident, this is known as Gharapuri  Iceland. After Portuguese found a large stone elephant near their landing place they renamed it as Elepanta. Now, the statue of Elephant is located at Jijamata Garden in Mumbai. Maharastra tourism Development Corporation organizes a spectacular dance festival at Elephanta Island in every February.
Opening time: 9 Am to 5 Pm (Closed on Monday).
