Location: 72 Km from Chennai nearly 1.45 hrs by bus from Chennai central railway station.

Kanchipuram also known as kanchi is one of the big district of Tamil Nadu. It is religious, historical and cultural place to visit. And it also considered as a religious capital of south Indianian kanchipuram city there are more than 1000 temple which are very old and impressive. This city also world famous for kanchipuram silk saris.

Ekambareswarar Temple:
Location: Ekambareswarar Temple is located nearby kachipuram bus stand. It will take nearly 10 minutes by walk from bus stand.
Ekambareswarar Temple is devoted to lord Shiva. Inside the temple there are 108 nos Shiv Linga and a holy mango tree which is 3500 years old. During 2nd century threr was a tamil poet and the temple describes that. Since then many structural changes had done. The original structure was draw out during the Pallavas’s periods and new temple made. The temple is extremely large and the doors are more than 40 feets tall.












Kamakshi Amman Temple:

Location: Kamakshi amman koil sannathi st, Periya Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu-631502
. It will take nearly 05 minutes by walk from bus stand.

Having 4 entrance and nearly 5 acres area, it is located nearby kanchipuram bus stand. A huge Dhajasthambha is located at the centre of the entrance and the Mahisasurmardini diety is on the right. Goddess Kamakshi is visible after moving straight which is surrounded by deities of Ayyapan, Swaraswati, Annaporani and Adishankaracharyas on its outer side.All the devotees can also see the golden Gopuram which is on the sanctorum of the goddess Kamakshi deity.

Location: Nethaji Nagar, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu-631501

Varadaraja Perumal Temple is devotee to Lord Vishnu and it is also called as Vishnu Temple.Varadaraja Perumal Temple is a example of Dravidian Architecture and was established in the year of 1053 AD by the Cholas.In 12th century the Vijyanagar King was renovated the temple. The 24 steps in the temple represent the number of letters of Gayatri Mantra. This tample is popular for Golden Lizard there is vast History behind this.Legent said that Lord Bramhya with His wives Gayatri and Savitri by ignoring saraswati,perform Yajna here to purify himself
